SUMMER FLOWERS FOR SALE
Nurture-Outreach will be selling flowers at Sunday Worship throughout the Summer and into September. The bouquets are $5/each and proceeds go to funding our outreach programs.

FOOD PANTRY COLLECTION Please remember to bring your non-perishable contributions, as we continue to support the Ontario Food Pantry. Donations are delivered after the 1st Sunday each month – April 7th The bin is in Motley Hall – your donations are appreciated!

REMINDER FORMS FOR USE OF FACILITY & BORROWED ITEMS FROM CHURCH If you would like to reserve VandeVate Hall for an event/meeting, or if you’d like to borrow items from church, please fill out the appropriate forms. Forms are in the folder (in bin) outside of church office. You can call the church office regarding availability. This is important in order to keep the schedule done correctly and keep track of items. Thanks!

Additional Options to Participate in Weekly Worship

We are blessed to be back our sanctuary to worship together each week, but we are still offering some other options that enable you to participate and view our weekly worship service. You can veiw our worship service via facebook and also by You Tube TV. You may also still hear the service from our parking lot by tuning into the FM radio station 101.9 during our service. Remember we are still able to email or snail mail our worship elements so if you decide to go with a non-attendance option please contact the church office so we can get you the bulletin. Also, if you have any other suggestions or comments, we would appreciate receiving your

Joys and Concerns

There will be a basket in Motley Hall for you to drop a note for any Joys & Concerns you’d like prayers for and/or listed in the bulletin.

The requests in the basket will be gathered every Sunday, during worship service.

Transportation Ministry Opportunity

We are looking for volunteers who are willing to provide transportation, periodically, for those in need. You would take parishioners to such places as doctor appointments, grocery store, church, etc. If you are interested in this ministry opportunity, please contact Gerry Whitmire at 524-5570. VIM Reminder

The Volunteers in Missions Team (VIM) has an account with Sparky’s Cans & Bottles on the corner of Ontario Center Road and Route 104.  Those who wish to donate their cans and bottles may drop them off at Sparky’s and indicate that the proceeds should be sent to North Ontario Methodist Church.  Sparky’s Hours:  Tuesday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. & Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Weekend Back-Pack Food Program

At the end of September, once again we will begin the Weekend Backpack Food Program with the Wayne Central School District. As a result, we would greatly appreciate any donations to supplement the food packs. Items we are looking for include:

  • Canned fruit in juice
  • Canned vegetables
  • Canned tuna in water or foil pack tuna
  • Dried fruit multi-packs such as raisins
  • Microwave soups, Macaroni & cheese, Spaghetti-O’s, and/or popcorn
  • Instant Oatmeal & multi-pack cereals
  • Quaker Snack Bars
  • Fresh fruit – seedless oranges, apples
  • 100% juice boxes or pouches
  • Multi-packs of peanut butter
  • Milk

All items need to be shelf-stable, easy to prepare, nutritious, kid-friendly, and individually packaged. Thank you!

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Arlene Michelsen has handed the oversight of the Prayer Shawl
Ministry to Barb Sanger. Going forward, if you have any questions,
please reach out to Barb. 315-524-3389. If you know how to knit or crochet and would like to assist with making the prayer shawls, we are in GREAT need of more knitters. (Because Barb does not knit!!)
