SUMMER WORSHIP UPDATE \u2013 BEGINNING NEXT SUNDAY!!<\/strong>
This Summer, beginning July 5th, our Summer Worship Services
Will be held in VandeVate Hall @ 9:00am<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HELP NEEDED!!<\/strong>
VandeVate Hall will need to be torn down and set up for respite after worship today. Please plan to stay if you’re able to help. We will set up Thursday, July 16th at 10:00a for worship on Sunday, July 19th. Watch future bulletins with details for set up and tear down during July and August. Thank you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SUMMER BIBLE STUDY<\/strong> We will be meeting for Summer Bible Study on these dates: Wednesday, July 22nd; Wednesday, August 12th; Tuesday, August 25th @ 10am in the Choir Room ~ Bring a willing heart & your bible~<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PASTOR LINDA OUT OF TOWN<\/strong> Pastor Linda will be out of town July 22nd (afternoon) – August 1st Rev. Debra Longer will be covering for any emergencies. She can be reached at: 585-750-6078<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SAVE THE DATE!! NOMC ANNUAL SUMMER CAMPFIRE<\/strong> Our Summer Picnic & Campfire will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 ** 6:00pm ~ Rain or Shine ~ We\u2019re asking everyone to bring a dish to pass ~ Hot Dogs, Burgers & Drinks will be provided There will be signup sheets posted – Direct questions to Bob Buck<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD \u2013 2026<\/strong>
The Nurture\/Outreach Team will be holding a collection of items for
Operation Christmas Child throughout the summer. There will be a collection box located in Vandevate Hall.
Below is a list of items we would like to have purchased
and donated by month. We thank you in advance for your donations!
Just a reminder: all items need to fit into shoeboxes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

June<\/strong>
Summer Items & Toys: Flip Flops (Dollar Tree stores have a great selection) dolls, jacks, toy trucks\/cars, playing cards, card games, kazoos, yo-yos, jump robes, balls, small stuffed animals, toys that make noise & light up (include batteries).
July<\/strong>
School Supplies: Pens, regular and colored pencils, sharpeners, crayons, markers, stamp, and ink pad sets, writing pads, flash cards, solar calculators, coloring, activity and picture books.
August<\/strong>
Hygiene Items: MOST IN NEED \u2013 toothbrush, (NO TOOTHPASTE), mild bar soap (in plastic bag), washcloth, combs, brushes, headbands, hair accessories.
Do Not Include:<\/strong>
Used or damaged items, war-related toys, chocolate, food, out of date candy, toothpaste, liquids, lotions, medications, vitamins, no breakables, glass or aerosol cans.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SUMMER FLOWERS FOR SALE<\/strong>
Nurture-Outreach will be selling flowers at Sunday Worship throughout the Summer. The bouquets are $5\/each and proceeds goes toward offsetting OCC postage costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FOOD PANTRY COLLECTION<\/strong> Please remember to bring your non-perishable contributions, as we continue to support the Ontario Food Pantry. Donations are delivered after the 1st Sunday each month \u2013 April 7th The bin is in Motley Hall \u2013 your donations are appreciated!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

REMINDER FORMS FOR USE OF FACILITY & BORROWED ITEMS FROM CHURCH<\/strong> If you would like to reserve VandeVate Hall for an event\/meeting, or if you\u2019d like to borrow items from church, please fill out the appropriate forms. Forms are in the folder (in bin) outside of church office. You can call the church office regarding availability. This is important in order to keep the schedule done correctly and keep track of items. Thanks!

Additional Options to Participate in Weekly Worship<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We are blessed to be back our sanctuary to worship together each week, but we are still offering some other options that enable you to participate and view our weekly worship service. You can veiw our worship service via facebook and also by You Tube TV. You may also still hear the service from our parking lot by tuning into the FM radio station 101.9 during our service. Remember we are still able to email or snail mail our worship elements so if you decide to go with a non-attendance option please contact the church office so we can get you the bulletin. Also, if you have any other suggestions or comments, we would appreciate receiving your<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joys and Concerns<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

There will be a basket in Motley Hall for you to drop a note for any Joys & Concerns you\u2019d like prayers for and\/or listed in the bulletin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The requests in the basket will be gathered every Sunday, during worship service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transportation Ministry Opportunity<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We are looking for volunteers who are willing to provide transportation, periodically, for those in need. You would take parishioners to such places as doctor appointments, grocery store, church, etc. If you are interested in this ministry opportunity, please contact Gerry Whitmire at 524-5570. VIM Reminder
<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Volunteers in Missions Team (VIM) has an account with Sparky’s Cans & Bottles on the corner of Ontario Center Road and Route 104.  Those who wish to donate their cans and bottles may drop them off at Sparky’s and indicate that the proceeds should be sent to North Ontario Methodist Church.  Sparky’s Hours:  Tuesday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. & Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weekend Back-Pack Food Program<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

At the end of September, once again we will begin the Weekend Backpack Food Program with the Wayne Central School District. As a result, we would greatly appreciate any donations to supplement the food packs. Items we are looking for include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Canned fruit in juice<\/li>
  • Canned vegetables<\/li>
  • Canned tuna in water or foil pack tuna<\/li>
  • Dried fruit multi-packs such as raisins<\/li>
  • Microwave soups, Macaroni & cheese, Spaghetti-O\u2019s, and\/or popcorn<\/li>
  • Instant Oatmeal & multi-pack cereals<\/li>
  • Quaker Snack Bars<\/li>
  • Fresh fruit \u2013 seedless oranges, apples<\/li>
  • 100% juice boxes or pouches<\/li>
  • Multi-packs of peanut butter<\/li>
  • Milk<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    All items need to be shelf-stable, easy to prepare, nutritious, kid-friendly, and individually packaged.<\/strong> Thank you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Prayer Shawl Ministry<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Arlene Michelsen has handed the oversight of the Prayer Shawl
    Ministry to Barb Sanger. Going forward, if you have any questions,
